Features of Derrick:
● Section of Derrick is k-shaped, namely front-opening type.
● Derrick is installed at low position and lifted completely. Derrick is divided into several sections which are connected in plane, and double conic pin is inserted into holes so as to connect sections tightly and properly.
● Main body of Derrick is laminar structure which is easy to assemble & disassemble and transport.
● Major stressed parts of Derrick such as legs and A-frame are made from H-steel.
● Adjustment of center of well: its left and right direction is adjusted by adding/reducing pads under bracket of Derrick and front/ rear direction is adjusted by eccentric wheel at rear bracket of A-frame (however, if bracket of derrick’s leg is below sub-structure, it is adjusted on the floor).
● Derrick meets API Spec 4F regulations so that it is allowed to put on an API. Label.
